It's that time of year again when fashion's most influential gather to watch our favourite designers and emerging new talents showcase their new collections at Fashion Week. This year, to celebrate the event, we have put together a brief guide to the hosting cities, taking a look at some of our favourite past street style looks from show goers, as well as which fashionable hot spots are worth a visit. Running from Thursday, September 7th to Friday, September 15th, the first city to host the event is New York. NYFW goers are renowned for their edgy fashion sense, with bold looks and sportswear inspired pieces often taking centre stage. For those of you lucky enough to be visiting the city for fashion week, there are a number of shows that are open for the public to attend, just remember to pack your most stylish outfit and head to a blow-dry bar in case you run into a street style photographer on your way to the show.

One of our favourite trends from previous years that we think will be returning this year is the statement coat. With styles varying from the puffer jacket to vintage inspired sheepskin jackets, the stand-out colour earlier this year was bold scarlet.Take inspiration from these bold looks and add a bit of scarlet to your lingerie drawer with our stunning Dare collection. In striking scarlet, it's the perfect set for any fashionista.

Classic monochrome looks never go out of style and are seen year after year on the most stylish at Fashion Week. Opt for modern silhouettes in a timeless black and white palette for instant style points. Accessories are key with a monochrome look, either stick with your black and white colour scheme and ensure your shoes and bag match, or add a pop of colour with your accessories for a stylish twist on the classic look. Our monochrome boudoir bras are timeless pieces that make the perfect addition to any Fashion Week outfit. Our favourites include the Belle de Nuit and Jasmine embroidered boudoir bras.
