Our complete philosophy is built on beautiful handcrafted lingerie that fits extremely well. You will want to wear Fleur of England all day and every day because of our amazing fit.

These are the exact steps I would take you through if I was fitting you at my studio.

Finding your size (measuring)

• Put on your favourite non padded underwired bra.

• Make sure that you have put it on properly (bend over slightly and shake your bust into the cups) and ensure your straps are adjusted correctly.

• To find your back size, you need to take your underbust measurement. Measure all the way around your body going under your bust with a fabric measuring tape. Snugly wrap around your rib cage. This will give you your back measurement and write it down
  (see size chart table)

• Next we need to find your cup size by taking your overbust measurement. This is the same process as before but this time wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust. Ensure you are standing up straight and the tape is level around your back.

• Write it down and refer to our sizing guide to tell you your size.

Please note that the sizes on the chart are still only a guide. Having worked in the lingerie industry for many years and fitted thousands of women I know full well that we can all have slight differences and therefore we can never measure ourselves against one simple chart. This process however will be as accurate as you can get without a personal fitting from an expert.

Fitting

• You have to feel comfortable and supported and you just can’t beat trying your exquisite Fleur of England bra on.
• At the studio I would measure you and then fit the bras on you. Every brand’s sizing can differ. Ours run neat on the back size and true on cup sizes.
• All our bras are cross graded which means that the cups are the same as follows:

This is really helpful to know when your bra doesn’t fit around the body but the cup seems to work. For example if the band (34b) is too tight but the cup fits well just go up a back size and down a cup size (36a). Or if the back size (34b) is too loose and the cup fits well go down a back size and up a cup (32c).

A good fitting bra should

• Not ride up at the back (if it does you need to go down a back size, this is the most common fit problem I find)
• Still support the bust if you take the straps off your shoulders
• Not have a baggy cup (if it does you need to go down a cup size)
• Sit flat on your body at the centre front – this is the area in the middle between the cups (if it is raised away you need to go up a cup size)
• Not dig in at the back (if it does you need to go up a band size)
• Not dig into your neck line creating the dreaded double busting (if it does you need to go up a cup size).

Once you have established your Fleur of England bra size, you are away! Enjoy having beautiful handcrafted lingerie that you can wear all day and look fabulous in at night.
